Torino have officially signed Italy Under-21 internationals Daniele Baselli and Davide Zappacosta from Atalanta.

The double deal is believed to have cost around €13m, reinvesting the €18m plus €2m bonuses earned from Matteo Darmian’s move to Manchester United.

It’s quite a coup for the Granata, as Baselli had been in negotiations with both Milan and Fiorentina.

He scored two goals in 50 Serie A games for the Orobici and a picture was released of him signing the contract by GR Sports Agency.

Zappacosta is a right-back who just turned 23 and has three goals in 29 top flight appearances.

He joined Atalanta in 2011, going out on loan to Avellino.
