However, Sky reports that Barzagli has suffered a muscular injury to his left thigh, and will leave Coverciano tonight.

It’s a blow for his club, as Giorgio Chiellini and Martin Caceres are already out of action, leaving just Leonardo Bonucci and Daniele Rugani as central-defensive options if Chiellini isn’t fit after the international break.
