Andrea Barzagli was “angry” at the Juventus defeat with Milan and disallowed goal, but “we had another hour to win it and failed.”

The Bianconeri capitulated to a Manuel Locatelli screamer, though Miralem Pjanic’s goal in the first half was incorrectly disallowed.

While Medhi Benatia was marginally offside, it was Leonardo Bonucci who interfered with play by stretching towards the ball.

“I am pretty angry because we lost, so I can’t really comment on how I did,” he told Sky Sport Italia after compliments for his performance.

“I just have to say that two moments of the match went badly for us. We actually played better than in other occasions when we won, but if we lost then evidently it means we must do better.

“The goal was disallowed after the referee and goal-line official discussed it. They probably decided that Bonucci was irritating Donnarumma with his presence.

“It’s a pity it was incorrectly disallowed, but we had another good 60 minutes to win it and failed.”

Juventus built a super squad this season, yet are struggling in Serie A and the Champions League.

“It’s only normal we need time to get to know each other better.”
