The Canarini have won just once at home all season and will be desperate to change that stat when they face the Gialloblu in the clash between the two already relegated teams.

“We want to avoid earning the record for the least amount of home wins in a season,” said Baroni in his Press conference.

“We want to win, and we want to put on a good performance for the fans, as they have always supported us. We didn’t win enough games, despite playing well at times.

“We want to give the fans a good send-off with the gift of a victory. In the media’s eyes, this game seems boring and uninteresting, but we want to do well. However, Chievo are a side far from being already on holiday.”

Bartosz Salamon, Mirko Gori, Luca Paganini and Raman Chibsah are out of action, but Baroni tips his hat to a fan favourite.

“Federico Dionisi will definitely play. When I arrived here, he was recovering from injury and he had to do a lot of work to be able to return before the season ended.

“I still haven’t decided if I’ll play a 3-5-2 or if I’ll play with a front three. I’m thinking about giving some minutes to our younger players like Andrea Errico and Francesco Verde, there might be space for them.”
