Marco Baroni maintains Frosinone “gave everything” in an unlucky 1-0 home defeat to SPAL. “It’s difficult to do much more.”

“The team gave everything it had, you just had to look at the players at the final whistle. They were exhausted,” Baroni told Radio Rai.

“It’s a pity because, once again, we conceded on the first opposition corner and it was an avoidable goal. We did react aggressively, had 25 shots on goal and I think it’s difficult to do much more.

“We have regrets about the result, but remain convinced we did everything possible to turn it around. This team is alive and kicking, so now let’s prepare for the midweek round with Parma.”
