Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone met Dusan Vlahovic’s agent yesterday to discuss the future of the Serbian striker, but there’s still no solution.

Corriere Fiorentino reveals Barone met with Darko Ristic, the agent of the striker, to discuss the increasingly delicate situation at the Artemio Franchi.

Vlahovic agent demands infuriated Fiorentina

The newspaper claims the striker doesn’t want to leave in June, while Arsenal have reportedly increased their offer to more than €80m.

Fiorentina directors reportedly travellened to London to discuss a possible sale in January with Tottenham too, but the outlet claims the club has yet to find a solution for the 21-year-old.

Juventus have reportedly talked to the Serbian’s agents and Corriere Fiorentino believes President Rocco Commisso has asked to reconnect with the player’s representatives after a turbulent summer.

Ristic arrived in Florence and the parties are back in touch after a long period without contact. The newspaper claims it will not be a turning point to help complete an operation as soon as possible, but the beginning of a new relationship between the club and the player’s representatives.

Patron Commisso publicly revealed he had offered a bumper new deal to Vlahovic, one that would make him the best paid Fiorentina player in the club’s history.

But the youngster decided against renewing with the Viola and has been linked with a move away from the club ever since.

Juventus, Milan and Inter have all been linked with the player, while there has been interest from Atletico Madrid in Spain. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also mentioned to be in the running, while fellow Premier League giants Manchester City have also been mentioned as possible suitors for Vlahovic, who has already scored 12 goals in 15 Serie A games this term.
