Nicola Santoni’s plea bargain is for nine months, but ex-Bari goalkeeper Gillet (now at Torino) could be banned for four years.
Prosecutor Stefano Palazzi also requested a nine-month ban for Paulo Vitor Barreto, plus four years for Davide Lanzafame and Massimo Ganci.
However, today Lanzafame saw his plea bargain accepted and will be suspended for 16 months with a €40,000 fine.
Former Bari midfielder Alessandro Gazzi tried to take a plea bargain of two months, 20 days and a €20,000 fine, but it was rejected by the Disciplinary Commission.
Also rejected were plea bargain requests by Andrea Masiello and Marco Esposito.
The inquiry surrounds two games: Bari 0-1 Treviso on May 11 2008 and Salernitana” data-scaytid=”23″>Salernitana 3-2 Bari on May 23 2009.
