Franco Baresi is ‘proud’ to have been named Milan’s honorary Vice-President as he thanks Paolo Scaroni and Ivan Gazidis.
“I thank the club, the President Scaroni and the CEO Gazidis for this new position. It is a great honour, which fills me with pride,” Baresi said after the appointment.
“I’m happy with this recognition and, above all, that the club has thought of me to add another piece of the future to a glorious coat of arms, to continue to always remain a great Milan.”

Milan’s shareholders meeting approved the financial statements as of 30 June 2020, reporting a loss of € 195m and named a new Board of Directors today.
