Inter midfielder Nicolò Barella said Antonio Conte has built a ‘perfect team’ at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The Nerazzurri finished second in Conte’s first season at the helm, but went all the way this season and secured their first Scudetto since 2009-10.
Barella doesn’t understand the criticism of his team and defended the Beneamata in an interview with France Football.
“Even before Atalanta scored six goals per game, we had the best attack, we have the best defence, we won the Scudetto,” Barella said.

The midfielder continued to praise the work of coach Conte, who’s future in Milan is uncertain.
“He has his own guidelines, the ones we have known for years,” Barella said. “Just watch the games, you can see it.
“He’s great at everything, not just mentally, but tactically, in training. Last year we were Conte’s team. This year, we are Conte’s perfect team.”
