Inter have reportedly agreed terms with Nicolo Barella but are still €10m away from Cagliari’s asking price.
According to Corriere dello Sport, a five-year contract has been prepared for Barella, whose preference is ‘clearly’ Inter.
However, the newspaper agrees with Sky Sport Italia in that Cagliari will not accept less than €45-50m for the midfielder.
La Nuova Sardegna, meanwhile, writes the Rossoblu are willing to accept €35m plus Italy Under-21 defender Alessandro Bastoni.

The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, would not want to exceed €30-35m, so a deal is unlikely to go through before the end of the European Under-21 Championship.
Nonetheless, Il Corriere writes the Beneamata have put all their eggs in the Barella basket after being priced out of a move for Ajax’s Donny van de Beek.
