“Playing for Inter is my dream,” Bardi has admitted the Corriere dello Sport.

“It is also what I’m working towards every day, but at the moment I have to dedicate myself to Chievo. Completely.

“I haven’t achieved anything yet, I’m playing in Serie A, gaining experience, but I know I have to improve.

“Being young, it is an opportunity and also an obligation.

“Can Inter win the Scudetto? I think so. The championship will be a much closer race than last year, there are four or five teams who could win it.”

Bardi also spoke about his penalty save – admitting luck played a large role!

“It takes three qualities – luck, intuition and preparation. And I do not mean of the opponent, but in how to jump, to reach the ball. But I’ll be honest, 40 per cent is luck.”
