Barcelona are reportedly offering €9m plus another €4m in add-ons to Juventus for Federico Chiesa after agreeing personal terms with the Italy international.

His contract with the Bianconeri only runs to the end of the current campaign, so he has been frozen out of the squad by new coach Thiago Motta and is not part of their plans.

After links with clubs including Roma, Napoli, Milan and Inter, Chiesa agreed personal terms with Barcelona for a three-year contract, reportedly at a pay cut to just €4.5m per season.

They still need to shake hands with Juventus over the transfer fee and Spanish paper Diario Sport claim that the opening offer is €9m plus another €4m in add-ons.

Although it is possible that Juve could accept less than €15m, and therefore make a net loss on the €60m purchase from Fiorentina, they will likely still want more of that to be guaranteed than €9m.

Barcelona were able to make the bid today because they have agreed the sale of defender Mikayil Faye to Rennes for €12m.

Ilkay Gundogan is also heading to Manchester City and Vitor Roque on loan to Real Betis.
