If the proposed deal with Pjanic should fail, the newspaper claims Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis will ask for €60m to release Fabian.

The 24-year-old arrived for €30m from Betis in July 2018 and has established himself as a key member at the San Paolo.

This term, the attacking midfielder has played 22 Serie A games and contributed two goals and two assists in the process, with the Partenopei sitting sixth in the League.
