Franck Kessie’s Milan contract is due to expire in June, so there are reports in Spain that Barcelona want to swoop in January.

The situation is increasingly tense behind the scenes at the Milanello training ground, as negotiations to extend his current deal have hit a brick wall.

The Rossoneri already lost Gianluigi Donnarumma to PSG and Hakan Calhanoglu to Inter as free transfers after similar sagas ended with the contract expiring.

There may well be a way out for both player and club, because Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona are ready to make an offer for Kessie in January.

They would face competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, who have both been long linked with the Ivory Coast international.

If Milan were to sell in January, they would at least be able to bring in some money for the player.

They’d also fund a replacement, as Kessie would be away in January anyway for the Africa Cup of Nations.

  1. Bye nice knowing you Frankie. Go for more money…..oops glory….like too many players these days.

  2. I don’t see this transfer happening to Farsa. They are already in big debt and are able to pay him 8m net? Honestly, this looks like another transfer without sense like the one that took Pjanic to Barcelona. A lot of money in wages

  3. Seems like the way it’s gonna go anyway, so let’s wrap a deal up and bench him till he leaves with the form he’s been in recently. We aren’t gonna restore the club to former glory with mercenaries we need bandieris

  4. Lol what a stupid rumor. They are bankrupt and have to cut costs as they are still over the maximum wage threshold in Spain. They can’t possibly satisfy Kessie’s huge salary demands.

But it is the perfect place for him. That ship is sinking fast and he can go down with them if he wants.

  5. Let him go there if they manage to rob a bank. I have had it with these players wanting more. In all fairness he is playing in his first CL and has not won anything. This type of mentality is all wrong and if he wants to join Hakan then so be it.
