‘Barcelona disrespectful on Rabiot’

Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting director alleges Barcelona have had a deal with Juventus and Milan target Adrien Rabiot since the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting director alleges Barcelona have had a deal with Juventus and Milan target Adrien Rabiot since the summer.

The French midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, and has made it clear to PSG that he won’t sign an extension.

Both Juve and the Rossoneri have been linked with him for some time, but it’s expected he’ll move to Barça.

However, following their hijacking of Roma’s move for Malcom, it’s alleged the Blaugrana haven’t exactly followed protocol.

“We’re always surprised when clubs don’t respect the rules,” Antero Henrique said on Radio Montecarlo.

“I’m very surprised, because he said he got an offer this summer before the transfer market closed, on August 29.

“It’s simple, that means Barcelona reached an agreement with Rabiot before talking to us. Their offer was ridiculous, we were surprised it was so low.

“It was a disrespectful offer for a top player like Rabiot.”
