The Bianconeri are at the centre of several big moves this weekend and they were about to intersect.

Manchester City talent Correia is undergoing a medical with Juventus today and it’s reported he will move in a straight swap with Pablo Moreno.

Both teenagers were valued at circa €10m.

According to Mundo Deportivo, this irritated Barcelona, who had tried to negotiate Moreno’s return to La Cantera as part of the deal taking Arthur to Juventus.

Instead, the Blaugrana will receive Miralem Pjanic plus €10m cash to meet Arthur’s €70m valuation.

Juve snapped up Moreno from Barcelona in 2018, paying them €700,000 – just over the mandatory formation fee that academy clubs are owed when a 16-year-old is poached.

He was always considered one of the brightest talents in the Barca academy and they would’ve relished the opportunity to bring him back, but Juventus monetised the striker in a different way.

His value is registered at €10m in the straight swap with Manchester City’s Portuguese winger Correia.
