The FIGC have confirmed sanctions for Danilo D’Ambrosio, Leandro Paredes, Bryan Cristante and Adam Marusic following aggressive confrontations during the Derby d’Italia and the Derby della Capitale on Sunday evening.

Inter’s D’Ambrosio has been charged with serious unsportsmanlike conduct and has been issued with a two-game ban and €5,000 fine, meaning he will be absent for the two games immediately after the international break.

The Giudice Sportivo gave further details for the suspension, writing that D’Ambrosio has been charged: “for having approached an opposing player, reacting to his provocations, squeezed the back of his neck and continuing with his aggressive attitude after the referee’s attempt to separate them.”

Paredes has also been punished for his involvement in the incident on account of unlawful behaviour and will serve a one-game suspension and pay a €10,000 penalty.

After the Derby della Capitale at the Stadio Olimpico, Bryan Cristante has also been disqualified for misconduct towards an opponent and will subsequently miss Roma’s next game against Sampdoria at the end of April.

Cristante will also have to pay a €10,000 penalty.

Roma’s Roger Ibanez will also be suspended for the game after the international break after being sent off for a second bookable offence after 32 minutes of the derby.

The biggest fine has gone the way of Marusic, who will have to pay €15,000 as a result of his actions at the end of the 1-0 win against Roma.

He will not be available for selection when Lazio travel to Monza at the start of April.
