Ever Banega thanks Inter vice-President Javier Zanetti for bringing him to a “historic club”.
The Sevilla midfielder will join the Nerazzurri when the transfer window opens, becoming the first signing of the new season.
“I’m arriving at a historic club thanks to the work of Pupi [Zanetti],” Banega told Clarin.
“Now I want to think about the Copa America, then what will happen in Italy. I’ll be starting again from stratch, but with hard work and sacrifice you can do great things.”

The 27-year-old scored in Argentina’s win over Chile last night, and scored eight in all competitions for Sevilla in the season which just finished.
