Palermo have rejected claims that Federico Balzaretti will be joining Milan at the end of the season.

Parma stopper Cristian Zaccardo stated yesterday that a mutual friend had told him that Balzaretti is set for a San Siro switch.

However, Rosanero chief Maurizio Zamparini has rejected such talk on Thursday.

"You'll have to ask Zaccardo who told him that," Zampa stated. "It certainly wasn't me.

"I'm not selling him and I actually hope that Balzaretti can conclude his playing days here with us in Palermo.

"He's not leaving and there is no reason for him to leave either. He's a pillar of the present and future Palermo side.

"He has a great life here and his girlfriend is from the city."

Balzaretti is in Cesare Prandelli's latest Italy squad and he's set to start in tomorrow night's Euro 2012 qualifier against Slovenia.
