Balzaretti, though, has said on Wednesday that he is totally committed to the Stadio Renzo Barbera outfit.
“I want to make it clear that my mind is not elsewhere,” the former Torino, Juventus” data-scaytid=”11″>Juventus and Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>Fiorentina man noted.
“That’s not the way I work and conduct myself as a professional footballer.
“I play every game as if it is my last. I have given and will continue to give 110 per cent to Palermo.”
Balzaretti is believed to be a January target for the Ligue 1 outfit, but the Italian club have stated that they will only sell the Azzurri left-back at the end of the season.
