Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli will not be returning to Italy anytime soon, as his agent dismisses links to Inter.

Roberto Mancini’s return to the San Siro bench has led to speculation that Balotelli could also make a return, with Mancio having previously worked with the striker at both the Nerazzurri and Manchester City.

However, Super Mario’s agent has dismissed such speculation, insisting the 24-year-old will not be returning to the peninsula.

“Not even the return of Mancini can make us change our mind,” Mino Raiola declared in an interview with Gr Parlamento.

“Mario won’t play in Italy, even if we get offers from Inter and Napoli.”

Balotelli has only scored twice for Liverpool since moving to Anfield in the summer, but Raiola is sure his client will soon be back to his best.

“He’s lacking a goal, but it’s just a phase and it will pass.

“He’s doing his best, now he’s picked up an injury and he hopes to recover soon.

“His relationship with the rest of the team? It’s perfect. British journalists should stay out of his life.”
