Beşiktaş President Ahmet Nur Çebi has stepped into a dispute with his Adama Demispor counterpart Murat Sancak saying that ‘Mario Balotelli will join Juventus.’

Sancak had irritated the Besiktas president by claiming that they would have hired Şenol Güneş as their new coach next season. The reply came thick and fast and somehow concerned also Italy striker Mario Balotelli.

“I do not remember Sancak being a Beşiktaş chief,” said Ahmet Nur Çebi.

“I do not remember that I brought him to the position of spokesperson for the press. It was not appropriate for the President of Adana Demirspor to make a statement concerning Beşiktaş, which was also a big lie.

“I can give you information from Adana Demirspor. Vincenzo Montella is going to Trabzonspor next year and Mario Balotelli will go to Juventus.”

Clearly, Nur Çebi only wanted to return the favour to his counterpart as it’s improbable to see Balotelli join Juventus anytime in the future.

The 31-year-old made his Italy return for a get-together at Coverciano at the end of January, but his last appearance with the Azzurri is dated back to May 2018.

Balotelli has played 141 games in Serie A with Inter, Milan and Brescia, scoring 52 goals. He made his senior Italy debut in August 2010 and has 36 caps and 14 goals to his name. He joined Adana Demirspor last summer and has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions.

  1. This means one thing; make Juve more Italian. Zaniolo and Balotelli if the management decides to offload Morata

  2. he’s trying to get a new contract for Ballo. Why should Juve go for a 31-year old problematic child with lack of discipline?

  3. Individualist who break solidarity, what a comment, believe what the press sell to you, at this age people are still reasoning with their toes instead of using their brains, shame.

  4. I’m happy for him because l have been praying to see him back in the National team l know for sure he is going to be of good behaviour and excel, this is his last chance to proof to the world that he is a Change person l wish him all the best
