Balotelli’s contract has two more years left to run, but he can leave for nothing this summer if Brescia are relegated to Serie B.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport and Nicolo Schira both claim the Italy striker could leave before the season is over.

That is because, the two sources write, another meeting could take place soon between him and Cellino, following the one that saw the patron turn away his No 45, to terminate his contract before June 30.

‘SuperMario’ missed training without a valid reason on Tuesday, prompting Cellino to brand his signing last summer a ‘mistake’.

Balotelli’s brother bit back, calling any suggestion of the former Inter and Milan hitman being unprofessional ‘nonsense’.
