Mario Balotelli will reportedly leave Monza when his deal with the Biancorossi expires on June 30.
Monza-news.it reports the club and player are parting ways after only six months together.
Balotelli, who left Brescia after a turbulent return to Serie A, joined the Biancorossi in December 2020 and contributed five goals in 12 games with the Serie B side.
Monza CEO Adriano Galliani said new coach Giovanni Stroppa would have to agree to keep Balotelli in the squad ahead of 2021-22.
The club finished third in Serie B and were eliminated from the play-offs by Cittadella.
Monza-news.it claims Balotelli will leave when his deal expires this month, as the 30-year-old is not likely to receive a proposal to remain at the U-Power Stadium.
