It is alleged that he elbowed defender Pablo Castro off the ball and broke the Brazilian’s nose in Marseille’s 2-0 defeat to Bordeaux.

As the referee didn’t see the alleged contact, the incident will be reviewed by the Disciplinary Commission and they will decide to analyse the images or not.

Pablo was given his marching orders for a clash later in the game with Balotelli and accused the former Inter striker of breaking his nose on purpose.

It's reported the ban could be anywhere from five to eight matches, if there is any punishment.
