According to La Repubblica, agent Mino Raiola offered SuperMario to Lazio in a deal that would see Liverpool pay 70 per cent of his wages during a season-long loan.
However, the Biancocelesti are unconvinced about this move.
Fiorentina are also an option for the former Milan and Inter striker.
As for Borini, he has been linked with Fiorentina, Lazio and Torino.
Balotelli received support from Lazio winger Ravel Morrison on Thursday evening.
“The way Liverpool are treating Mario Balotelli is Wrong,” he wrote on Twitter.
“They had a bad season and because of his past they try Put blame on him tut tut.”
