11 thought on “Ballon d’Or ceremony live: Messi wins, Jorginho ranked 3rd”
  1. This award has clearly become one reflecting a popularity contest. Namely, Messi’s transfer to PSG.

  2. How much has the Emir of Qatar paid to France Football to see Messi and Dollarumma winning? This mafia football world is a disgrace.

  3. It’s an award for individuals. It was 50-50 between Lewa and Messi I believe. Jorginho is not even close. If you look at players only, Jorginho is not even in the top 10.

  4. I’m really shocked. Messi completely fell off the wagon this year, makes no sense at all.

Honestly between just Messi and Ronaldo I think Ronaldo has had a much better year.

I was thinking this would be the first year where Messi’s name isn’t even mentioned for thus award.

    Strange stuff!!

  5. Congrats Messi.

Finished 3rd in the league with 0 goals in 4 games vs Real and Atleti

Knocked out in the R16 of the CL after missing a penalty and scoring only 1 npg in the CL

Scoring 0 goals in the semis and the Final of Copa Armerica against the only 2 decent teams.

After 2020 was cancelled they needed to give this to Lewandowski. What a shame.

  6. Super league should be introduce this award become useless and one man award Messi don’t deserve this award what a disgrace to entirely football …..this is not first and second time this happened

  7. I still remember when wesley sneijder of Inter Milan and the Netherlands was robbed of this same award in what year again? I can’t even recall the year cos there have been too many robberies over the years.

  8. This award has always been a sham, many people who deserved to win did not win, and many others were simply handed over the title, football has lost its credibility a long time ago, so people thought Jorginho would win, does he deserve to win.,?
