Davide Ballardini ‘can only thank’ Genoa players and insists he can’t decide his future at the club.
Ballardini is reportedly on the brink after a tough start to the season that has seen the Grifone collect six points in eight games.
However, they managed to recover from two goals down against Sassuolo, picking up a 2-2 draw at Marassi.
“I don’t decide my future, I know there are [rumours], despite that the team and the players are giving a lot and I can only thank them,” the Italian coach told DAZN.
Genoa have only won one of their opening eight games of the season and visit Torino next week.
