Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has reportedly picked a hamstring injury, so he will miss Wednesday’s Champions League match against Inter.

The former Tottenham winger missed Real Madrid’s 5-2 win over Celta Vigo yesterday after picking up an injury during a training session on Saturday.

According to Onda Madrid journalist Carlos Rodriguez, Bale has suffered an injury to the hamstring of the right leg and will remain on the treatment table for a considerable time.

Therefore, he will sit out Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday.

Official: Sensi to miss Madrid clash with injury

Bale returned to Real Madrid from his loan spell at Tottenham in the summer.

He has three appearances and one goal under Carlo Ancelotti this term.

Inter will be without their midfielder Stefano Sensi who picked up an injury during the Nerazzurri’s 1-1 draw against Sampdoria on Sunday.

Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni should be eligible to play as the exams he underwent this morning showed no lesions.
