Roma director general Mauro Baldissoni says it’s ‘early to make predictions’ but praises Rudi Garcia.
The Giallorossi beat Fiorentina 2-1 on Sunday to climb to the top of the league standings.
Baldissoni also believes the team can progress to the knockout rounds of the Champions League and that several teams are in the running for the Scudetto.
“The season has just started, but there is a clear balance and this makes it more interesting than the last few,” he told Radio Anch’io lo Sport.

“The season has just started, but there is a clear balance and this makes it more interesting than the last few,” he told Radio Anch’io lo Sport.
“It’s early to make predictions, but everyone is enjoying the fruits of their labour.
“For now we’re enjoying being alone in first place for the first time in two years.
“For the title I fear Roma most, because we are equipped to win, we have the power but we need to build the right awareness to win every game.
“Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina and Juventus are strong and can compete right to the end.
"We have all been subject to criticism, it’s part of the work we do and the expectation of victory that exists in this city.
“Raising expectations means raising the pressure and therefore it brings out the harshest criticism, which we gladly accept.
“With Garcia there’s a frank and direct relationship, we are happy with what he has done since he arrived.
“Some of his statements at the end of last season were unfortunate, but he cleared everything up with the President.
“Let’s remember that he is the Coach who has made the highest number of points in the history of Roma.
"I don’t think the Champions League is too big for us, I just think there is a greater waste of psycho-physical energy for a team that is not used to playing in it like Roma.
“We have every chance to go through.”
