Roma President James Pallotta reportedly met with Franco Baldini in London, leading to speculation he could make a return.

After Walter Sabatini quit as sporting director in October, it was widely assumed that Sevilla’s Monchi would replace him.

However, it now appears Real Madrid may beat the Giallorossi to Monchi, and Tuttomercatoweb is reporting a meeting in London between Pallotta and Baldini.

The ex-Tottenham director has had two spells with the Lupi, from 1999 until 2005 and then as a director in 2011-2013.
