Tiemoue Bakayoko

Tiemoue Bakayoko is finally on his way to Milan, as reports in France claim it is a done deal, on a two-year loan with option to buy with clauses from Chelsea.

The midfielder must first extend his current contract at Stamford Bridge so that it will expire in June 2024 rather than 2022.

After that, he can fly out for his medical in Milan over the weekend and put pen to paper.

According to RMC Sport, this will be a loan with option to buy.

Notably, there is also a clause making this an obligation to buy if Bakayoko makes a certain number of appearances for the Rossoneri throughout the two campaigns.

Milan are due to pay Chelsea a figure for the two-year loan, plus the option to buy.

Bakayoko is now expected in Milan tomorrow for his medical tests.

He spent last season in Serie A on loan at Napoli.
