According to reports in Italy, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massare met Tiemoue Bakayoko’s agent today and the Chelsea loanee could join Monza, Newcastle or Nottingham Forest.

Bakayoko returned to Milan on a two-year loan from Chelsea a year ago, but the France midfielder is no longer in Stefano Pioli’s plans, so the Rossoneri want to part ways with him and save money from his wages.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Bakayoko’s agent met Milan directors Maldini and Massara today and there are two options on the table for the 28-year-old, both leading to Monza.

The newly-promoted side are interested in the ex-Monaco midfielder and would get him on loan from Chelsea or on a free transfer if Bakayoo terminates his contract with the Blues.

His contract rescission with the Premier League giants is one of the scenarios considered by the player’s entourage, but there are only a few days left to reach an agreement over a potential payout from the Blues.

According to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, Forest are also interested and so are Newcastle, who ‘are pushing’ to sign the France international.
