The Canarini are in the market for a new tactician and yesterday were paired with retired great Baggio, who has just completed his coaching qualifications at Coverciano.
Baggio’s former agent Antonio Caliendo is leading the speculation by suggesting that the club hold ambition to launch his coaching career, one that Caliendo believes could be comparable to one of the recent coaching giants.
“I’m looking at some way to secure an interview with Baggio,” confirmed Caliendo to Radio Sport.
“Knowing him, he should have the same career as Pep Guardiola. A champion like him can become a great Coach, Modena could be a training ground in order to then present him to the footballing public worldwide.
“I might be in another world, or my suggestion might be accepted with a laugh, but still seriously and with humility, he could sit on the bench at Modena.
“Roberto pulls in the crowds, but he is also not one who would find himself in at the deep end.”
