Juventus and Italy star Federico Chiesa is looking forward to returning to the pitch and shared an encouraging message on Instagram: ‘Back soon…’
The 24-year-old sustained a season-ending knee injury in January and was ruled out of action for seven months.
The Euro 2020 winner is eager to return to action as soon as possible and showed his commitment with an Instagram post where he wrote #Backsoon, receiving thousands of likes and comments in a few hours.
Danilo and Manuel Locatelli are among the Juventus players who commented his pictures where he is seen wearing Juventus and Azzurri jerseys. Chiesa had scored four goals and delivered four assists in 18 appearances across all competitions before his injury against Roma in the second game of the year.
Both Juventus and Italy dearly missed him. The Bianconeri seem to be out of the Serie A title race being eight points behind Milan with seven games remaining. The Azzurri were eliminated from the play-offs for Qatar 2022 and missed out on the second successive World Cup for the first time in history.
