Carlos Bacca apologised to Cristian Brocchi and Milan for his actions last night – “that’s not me”.

The striker was substituted during last night’s 0-0 draw with Carpi, and glared at the Coach before reportedly driving away from San Siro before the end of the match.

“Reflecting after a few hours with a cool head, I apologise to the Coach, my teammates and all the Milan fans for the attitude I showed last night after my substitution,” Bacca wrote on Instagram.

“That’s not me, it was just a moment where I thought I could help the team on the pitch. I want to apologise with all my heart, and say that I’m right behind the team, my teammates and the Coach.

“I’ll give everything for this shirt, and I’m already preparing for our next cup final on Monday. Vamos!”

Brocchi responded with an Instagram message of his own, praising Bacca and saying they were “united for the good of Milan”.
