Inter director Piero Ausilio confirmed Mauro Icardi “could” sign a contract renewal tomorrow along with new buy Dias Felipe.
The Nerazzurri face Celtic today in the Europa League after a 3-3 first leg result in Glasgow.
“We are not underestimating anyone, especially British clubs like Celtic who proved in the first leg they could cause us problems,” Ausilio told Mediaset Premium.
“We played well and hope for another good 90 minutes with an even better result.”

The focus, however, is on Icardi and his on-going negotiations for a contract extension.
“It takes time to discuss the details, but we have to recognise the good work he’s doing. The thing that counts is that we will soon reach an agreement.
“Could he sign on Monday? There will be a meeting soon and if we can close the deal by Monday then fine, but if not it won’t mean there are any problems.”
Ausilio confirmed ex-Parma defender Dias Felipe “will sign tomorrow if we get through this Europa League round.”
He is a free agent after leaving the troubled club by mutual consent.
