Inter’s director of sport spoke to Sky Sport ahead of the Nerazzurri’s home clash against Spezia.
“There are two very important games and we want full points before the Christmas break,” Ausilio said.
“We decided within the club to face the transfer dynamics only at the end of 2020, because we can use that period to analyse some issues.”
Will Radja Nainggolan leave Inter in the January transfer window?
“We’ll see, we spoke to him recently and to be honest, the lad has worked very well over the last few months, he’s been an exemplary professional. I talking to him, we tried to understand his desires, it’s natural he wants more space and playing time.
“We’ll discuss it again next week and, considering how professional he has been, we will try to make him happy.”
Milan’s Frederic Massara was listening in from Reggio Emilia and Ausilio was asked which player he would sign from the Rossoneri.
“Frederic knows, we tried it, but they never wanted to sell.”
Gianluca Di Marzio suggested the player was Franck Kessie but neither of the two confirmed.
Will Inter try to sign Papu Gomez who is on the verge of leaving Atalanta?
“I would avoid putting my nose in someone else’s business,” Ausilio replied.
“Atalanta are friends, we know there’s something that has gone wrong, but we don’t want to get involved and make things worse. It’s objectively clear that Gomez is a very talented player who everyone would like.”
