Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has branded reports that Coach Frank De Boer could be sacked as ‘nonsense.’
The Dutchman has only presided over four matches as Nerazzurri boss since succeeding Roberto Mancini in August, winning one and losing two.
However, Thursday night’s shock 2-0 defeat at home to Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Europa League prompted rumours that the 46-year-old was already on the brink of the axe.

Italian outlet Calciomercato.com claimed on Friday that should the San Siro club lose Sunday’s Serie A encounter with old rivals Juventus, De Boer could be fired in favour of Fabio Capello.
However, speaking at a Press conference to formally announce the arrival of new midfielder Joao Mario, Ausilio took issue with the speculation surrounding the Coach.
“De Boer under discussion? I should respond with strong words, but there are some gentlemen in the conference room and it wouldn’t be nice!” he said.
“I can say that it is nonsense. We need to talk less and work a lot because we are behind. De Boer arrived a short while ago and he has not had much time to work with the whole squad.
“It is not easy to build something important without having a lot of time available. It needs patience.”
