Gianluca Aureliano has been assigned to the big game between Roma and Atalanta this weekend, while Maurizio Mariani takes Torino–Napoli.
The first Serie A games of 2024 are set to kick off and the Lega Serie A assigned referees to the 10 fixtures.
Aureliano probably has the toughest job, as he officiates the showdown for a top four place between Roma and Atalanta, with coaches Jose Mourinho and Gian Piero Gasperini sure to make life difficult for the fourth official Daniele Doveri on the touchline too.
This round also marks the midway stage of the season, so whoever is top will be crowned Winter Champions.
