Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi is reportedly beginning to attract interest from a number of ‘top’ clubs across Europe, including Atletico Madrid in LaLiga and Manchester United in the Premier League.
Outlets in Colombia, reported via TMW, believe that Atletico and Manchester United have both already made enquiries with Bologna over the availability of Lucummi in the summer.
Atleitco are reportedly interested in finding a replacement for left-footed centre back Mario Hermoso, who is set to leave upon the expiry of his contract in a few months’ time, while Manchester United could bring in a number of reinforcements in practically every area of the pitch.
Lucumi, who joined Bologna from Belgian outlet Genk in the summer of 2022, is estimated to be worth somewhere in the region of €20m by the Rossoblu decision makers.
Bologna are in no particular rush to sell, but having multiple interested parties can only be a positive in terms of the eventual transfer fee if they do decide to let Lucumi go.
