Today it was reported he’d go to Tottenham in part-exchange for Erik Lamela to Inter.
However, Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo claims Atletico Madrid have set their sights on Shaqiri too.
The player would certainly prefer Diego Simeone’s side, as they are in the Champions League and present a much higher media profile.
He’d be seen as the ideal replacement for Arda Turan.
