Alessandro Florenzi is not part of Jose Mourinho’s Roma plans, so could go to Atletico Madrid or Sevilla.
According to Calciomercato.com, the two Liga sides are the ones most interested in giving the Italy international a new experience in Spain, after his brief loan at Valencia.
He impressed last season at Paris Saint-Germain, but they opted not to make the move permanent.
The 30-year-old had hoped for another chance at his beloved hometown club Roma, but new coach Mourinho does not seem eager to have the versatile right-back in his squad.
His contract only runs to June 2023, so the Giallorossi are looking for a permanent transfer at this stage.
Olympique Lyonnais and Inter had also been linked to the UEFA EURO 2020 winner.
Florenzi is a product of the Roma academy and a lifelong Giallorossi supporter, who amassed 280 competitive appearances for the club.
He scored 28 goals and provided 32 assists, playing variously as a right-back, right-sided midfielder or in a trident attack.
