Atletico Madrid are reportedly ready to make a move for Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
The Turkey international, who played in the 3-0 defeat to Italy on Friday, was influential in helping Milan qualify for the Champions League in 2020-21, as the Rossoneri finished second in Serie A.
Calhanoglu contributed 10 assists and four goals in 33 Serie A games, but has opted against renewing with the Diavolo, who offered him a new contract.
Calhanoglu doesn’t rule out Galatasaray: ‘If I get a good offer, why not?’
Thus the 27-year-old seems set to move on a free transfer ahead of 2021-22 and Marca reports Atletico Madrid have joined the chase for his signature.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star received an offer from Qatar and revealed he is open for a move to Galatasaray ahead of the opening game in the European Championship.
Los Rojiblancos reportedly fight against Premier League clubs for the attacking midfielder’s signature.
