Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries have attracted the attention of top European clubs, putting Inter in a tough position ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri were forced to sell Scudetto stars Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi last summer due to financial concerns, a situation that frustrated many fans in the Lombardy capital. Whilst things have looked good under Simone Inzaghi, interest from abroad could again see some Inter stars leave the club this summer.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atletico Madrid are on the lookout for a new forward to complement Joao Felix and Diego Simeone has set his sights on Lautaro. The Argentinian coach is a big fan of the Inter man and it’s clear that the player is interested in a possible move to Spain, seen with Barcelona’s interest in recent years.

The 24-year-old Argentinian forward is a top player and his contract reflects that, earning €6m net per season until 2026. Whilst Inter would prefer to keep Lautaro, last summer proved that no player is truly untouchable.

Dumfries has grown during his time under Inzaghi and his progression has attracted the attention of Bayern Munich and their coach Julian Nagelsmann, who are interested in making a move for him in the summer. Inter were forced to sell Hakimi last year but things are different now, although a deal cannot be ruled out should an incredible offer be put forward.
