Atletico Madrid and Inter are ready to swoop if Alessandro Florenzi does not renew his Roma contract soon.

The full-back is Roman through and through, but negotiations to pen a new deal continue to drag on without success.

His contract is due to expire in June 2019 and the club cannot afford to keep the situation going for much longer.

Inter have made no secret of their interest, as former Giallorossi Coach Luciano Spalletti has already poached Radja Nainggolan this summer.

According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, Atletico Madrid are another interesting option for the versatile Italian.

Florenzi can play as a midfielder, on the right side of a trident attack or as a right-back.

The 27-year-old would cost €15-20m if he were to leave the Stadio Olimpico.

Meanwhile, Roma have increased their salary package to €2.7m per year plus bonuses, but Inter are offering €4m.
