La Dea are back on the ground in Bergamo after Wednesday night’s victorious Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen, and thousands of supporters were on hand to welcome the squad home.
Countless supporters lined the streets outside Milan Bergamo airport on Wednesday, serenading the team as they made their way off the plane and into the terminal.
There was a sweet moment when hat-trick hero Ademola Lookman was handed the Europa League trophy to lift in front of the supporters, handed over by captain on the night Berat Djimsiti.
