Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi insists that Nerazzurri ‘never’ considered selling Juventus‘ target Teun Koopmeiners.

Percassi spoke to the media on Wednesday during the unveiling press conference of new signing Ben Godfrey a former Everton centre-back.

Several sources in Italy claim that Juventus have already agreed to personal terms with Koopmeiners but Atalanta don’t want to sell for less than €60m.

Percassi, however, insisted that the Dutch midfielder is not on the market at all.

Atalanta warn Juventus over Koopmeiners transfer

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Percassi said that a possible Koopmeiners sale “has never been in the club’s plans” as the Netherlands international “is fundamental to our club.”

Koopmeiners was forced to miss EURO 2024 due to an injury. Back in March, he revealed that he wanted to leave Atalanta at the end of the season.

Juventus have put several players on the market to boost their transfer budget and make a formal offer to La Dea for the Dutch midfielder.

The Serie A giants have already announced two new central midfielders, Khephren Thuarm and Douglas Luiz, but Thiago Motta is keen to work with Koopmeiners as well in 2024-25.
