Atalanta have emerged as possible suitors for David Ospina, as Napoli consider selling the Colombian goalkeeper.

Corriere del Mezzogiorno reports Atalanta are interested in the 32-year-old, who is currently participating in the Copa America with his national team.

Ospina moved to Napoli on loan from Arsenal in August 2018 and was signed on a permanent deal the following year, and has continued to battle with Alex Meret for the starting position at the Stadio Diego Maradona in recent years.

Ospina kept eight clean sheets in 16 Serie A games in 2020-21 and his contract with the Partenopei expires in June 2022.

The newspaper claims Napoli are ready to cash in for the veteran goalkeeper, to free up some resources to look for reinforcements in other areas of the pitch.

The report believes Napoli are on the market for a centre-back, a defensive midfielder and a left-back this summer.
