Atalanta continue to search for reinforcements ahead of the new season and have reportedly contacted Sassuolo, asking about forward Domenico Berardi.

SportItalia reports the European champion could be moving to one of the big teams this summer and that La Dea have asked about the winger.

Berardi joined Juventus in September 2013 but was immediately loaned back to the Neroverdi and returned on a permanent deal in 2015, as he was not ready to make the switch to the Bianconeri.

Now, the 26-year-old seems ready for a move to one of the giants and has attracted interest from foreign clubs too, with Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund mentioned as possible suitors.

The broadcaster claims Sassuolo value the attacker at €40m and Atalanta have contacted the side from Reggio-Emilia to ask about the possibilities of signing the Italy international this summer.

Berardi, who appeared in six games at the Euros this summer, has played 291 games for Sassuolo, contributing 105 goals and 67 assists in the process.
